Recycling Links Energy Savings
EPA is pleased to announce a new publication, Environmental Protection Begins with You - A Guide to Environmental Community Service. Close the Loop newsletters keep you up to date on products made from recycled materials. The newsletters are archived for everyone to see and you can sign up to have them emailed to you when new issues came out. Grist Magazine, a nonprofit online publication with environmental news, views, humor, and more... green@work Today is a portal for tracking environmental news for those who would like to stay informed but lack the time to peruse the ever-growing number of resources. Articles are gathered about positive progression that deals with the environment and sustainability. Biocycle - This professional journal focuses on organics collection, a wide variety of composting operations, and related recycling subjects. Recycler's World - A trading site for information related to recyclable commodities, by-products, used & surplus items. Resource Recycling - Though much of this magazine looks at recycling of containers, fibers, and special recyclables, they also examine composting related subjects. PROP's Open Burning section of the website provides information about the health effects of open burning, the environemental issues surrounding open burning and the problems we face trying to solve the multiple issues open burning causes.
