Course Description:

This course goes beyond Special Materials Collection I to expand on the details of administering a permanent special collection facility. Lancaster County’s permanent collection facility will be examined, and details of the operation and economics will be explained. A tour of the facility will be included. In addition, smaller permanent facilities will also be case studied. A representative from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will be on hand to discuss the regulatory issues and we will also hear from a panel of experts describing the details of various collection sites.

Upon completion, you will receive 0.30 Recertification CEUs.
