This interactive, two-day class core course is an excellent first step to becoming a PROP Certified Recycling Professional. Whether initiating a new recycling program, maintaining, and improving a current program, or starting a new position, a recycling professional can expect to be met with a variety of tasks and challenges.

PROP’s Recycling 101 Practice and Theory entails an overview of each section in the core manual by experienced professionals on subjects vital to building, implementing, and sustaining a successful recycling program from the ground up for new or experienced coordinators, and solid waste managers, or others in related fields. Our instructors are working in the Recycling industry thus bringing extensive knowledge and experiences to the classroom. These courses are designed for an interactive classroom setting with tremendous networking opportunities.

Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a Penn State certificate verifying the 1.4 CEUs earned toward Recycling Professional Certification.
